Azad Jammu & Kashmir University AJKU is the only public sector general university located in the area of Azad Jammu & Kashmir. AJK University is the only public sector general university located in AJK due to which almost all the colleges and higher education institutes in AJK are affiliated with this university. The university is famous for its research work in Geology where it is ranked 2nd in the whole country. Like other universities, AJK University is also distributing education from bachelor to doctorate level in different disciplines of science, humanities, commerce etc. Every year, thousands of regular and private students appear in exams of different levels under AJK University. Main campus of the university is in Muzaffarabad while it also has a sub campus in Rawalakot. AJK University is affiliated with HEC and Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC). AJK University was established in 1980.

The annual exams of all the classes from BA/ BSC to PhD level are conducted by AJK University according to a schedule. Just after few months of the exams, the results of the exams are declared for the students which are uploaded at the official site of the university soon afterwards. The students can easily view their results by inserting their roll numbers at the given space. The regular and private students also receive their result cards few days after the result announcement at their related institute and home address respectively. Supplementary exams are held for the failed students, couple of months after the annual exams results and the supply exams results are issued after one or two months of the exams.
